At Wonder World Childcare Kindergarten

Wonder World Childcare Kindergarten is a new service in Thornbury. The service runs a Steiner inspired program and it’s a loving space for families, children and educators.
The management aims to build trust relationships with each educator and support their professional development and personal growth.

All educators are required to have a kind nature, love children and the natural world and have a healthy sustainable lifestyle.

All educators are required to be fit and have a strong sense of well-being as this affects the significant job we do for children, families and our team.

All educators are motivated to contribute their skills, knowledge, love, energy and dedication to their work, to hold our loving space to nurture our children. Each individual educator’s effort is important for our service.

All educators need to follow our service guidelines to use the Steiner Approach.

The Centre is looking for full-time educators with Certificate III and Diploma in our babies and toddler’s room.

General conditions:

Wages: educators will be paid above the Award subject to skills and experiences

Professional development: the Centre will pay for CPR, Child Protection, Food safety certificates and any basic training required and expected by the Regulations from the 2nd year.

Steiner Study: The Centre will encourage staff to study Steiner Course online on Wednesday and tuition fee will be paid by the Service.

Staff Meeting: All educators need to attend staff meetings and training, expected once a month, for one-hour sessions.

Different tasks: All educators will be supported to participate in Centre tasks occasionally.

Neat and Tidy: All educators need to be organized and keep the environment neat and tidy. The room needs to be kept neat, tidy and clean at the end of the day.

Additional staff: Each room has a regular supporting educator for breaks, and a program and provides additional support for transition time.
